As we traverse and resonate through the human condition,

we find ourselves illuminated on the page.

Jayne Harnett Hargrove is a writer and cross-trained visual artist drawing from a diverse background in disciplines, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences to their work.

With a background rooted in both literary and visual vocabulary, and an innate empathy, Jayne has created a multidisciplinary practice that weaves together narrative, image, and emotion, capturing those overlooked moments that shape our lives—those quiet, transient experiences often lost in time to ephemeral nature of memory. The suchness reflecting in subtle gestures, fragments of conversation, and quiet residue of time passing. Through both her evocative prose and poignant visual art marked by its emotional depth and introspective quality, invites the viewer and reader to reflect on themes of vulnerability, identity, and the fragility of our personal histories. It is an art that lingers long after the moment has passed, preserving the intangible fragments of memory into the human condition and social landscapes that define our lives.

Jayne’s work serves as a contemplative archive of what it means to feel, remember, and exist in a constantly shifting world, inviting viewers into thoughtful dialogue.
